Your 100% tax-deductible donation will go directly towards:
1. A Day of Empowerment
We will give away 1,000 brand new Brown Enough books to an under-served LA high school
The books will be given out during a large group assembly where Christopher will speak about his book, his journey, and empower them to embrace their identity and pursue their dreams.
2. Curriculum and Follow Up Support
Students and teachers will receive and engage in a reflection and discussion curriculum that has been created by Christopher and correlates directly with the book, which will further support their growth.
Once students have completed the book, they will join Christopher on a group Zoom call for a culminating reflection and discussion.
3. Community Engagement Project
Students will engage in a community-based group project with Grow Mentoring, Christopher Rivas, and LAvsHate on a topic related to what they learned from reading Brown Enough.

$100 gives 4 students books and curriculum
$750 provides an entire class with books and curriculum
